You can choose between written-only revision guidance or a blend of live reflection and practical next steps, depending on how much real-time revision support you want while working through your manuscript changes.

This add-on is for writers who have completed a Manuscript Development or developmental editing process with me and now want guided support while revising their manuscript.

It’s not another critique or manuscript assessment. Instead, it offers practical help implementing developmental editing feedback while you’re actively revising your story.

Standard Revision Support — Written Only

Four weeks of structured manuscript revision guidance as your revisions unfold.

Includes:

• Weekly written check-ins focused on your manuscript revision priorities

• Thoughtful feedback on your revision decisions

• Practical guidance on applying your developmental editing feedback

Support may include help with:

• Applying Manuscript Development feedback during revision

• Clarifying revision priorities so your manuscript keeps moving forward

• Sense-checking new or revised scenes

• Evaluating whether a change strengthens your story structure or character arc

• Keeping your manuscript aligned with your original editorial feedback

Responses are grounded in your original developmental feedback and your current revision decisions, helping you stay focused and intentional throughout the revision process.

Premium Revision Support — Live + Written

Everything in the Standard tier, plus:

• Up to one 60-minute live revision session each week

• Choice of voice call or live text chat depending on what your revision process needs

After each session you’ll receive:

• A clear set of practical revision steps in a short written summary

• Focused prompts to keep your manuscript revision moving forward with intention

This tier is perfect if you want real-time support while revising your manuscript, along with accountability and actionable next steps between sessions.

Revision Support is a structured four-week manuscript revision support container designed specifically to help you put your Manuscript Development and developmental editing feedback into action without hesitation or overwhelm.

What This Isn’t

Revision Support:

• Is not a second developmental edit

• Is not a full manuscript re-read

• Is not Story Coaching (ongoing exploratory writing support)

• Is not line editing or copyediting

Instead, this service focuses specifically on implementing editorial feedback and moving through the manuscript revision stage with clarity and confidence.

How revision support works

• Start of Each Week:
  You’ll share a brief update on your current revision focus, specific questions, and any short excerpts you want to discuss. Up to 5,000–7,500 words per week can be reviewed.

  • This may include:

    • revised scenes

    • new scenes

    • snippets from different sections

• Support Delivered:

  • Standard:

    • Written response addressing your revision questions and decisions.

  • Premium:

    • A scheduled 60-minute live text or voice-chat session followed by written next steps.

• Weekly Progress:
  You revise with clarity and confidence, knowing what to focus on and why — and you send your next check-in at the start of the following week.

Availability

This add-on is available exclusively to writers who have completed a Manuscript Development service with me and is offered as an optional next step once developmental editing feedback has been delivered.

Because this service may include live sessions (Premium tier), availability is limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  A: We’ll reschedule within that week when possible. If not, you’ll receive a written session summary and prompts instead.

• Does this replace story coaching?
  A: No — this is specifically for implementing Manuscript Development feedback. For broader generative support or early-stage drafting questions, Story Coaching might still be more appropriate.
