Here’s a Little Bit About Me

My name is Elin, and storytelling has always been my life. Before I was old enough to put pen to paper, I was daydreaming of distant lands, quiet magic, and characters with aching hearts. In school, I was that one kid who looked forward to writing stories—and even essays—and that joy never left me. A few years ago, I finally did what I’d always dreamed of but never quite had the courage to do: I published a book. It wasn’t a smooth journey, but it was the one that changed everything.

I learned so much about the craft of writing through trial, error, stubbornness, and wonder. I wrote one book, then another, and then another—and I realized just how much I loved not only writing, but understanding why stories work. I read, I listened, I took notes, I rewrote chapters. Over time, I discovered that while structure, pacing, and character arcs matter deeply, the one thing no guide can teach you is the part that only you can bring: your heart, your love for your story, your why.

I’ve written and published several books in both the romance and fantasy genres, and every single one has taught me something new—not just about writing, but about myself. As much as we all want to “perfect” a manuscript, I don’t think that’s truly possible (or even the point, though I am still a perfectionist at heart). Your writing will always evolve. It will shift with your seasons. And that’s beautiful. What matters most is knowing why you write. That will always be your guiding star.

Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of beta reading for many incredible writers, working with authors at every stage—from total beginners to seasoned pros. Everyone needs and deserves someone in their corner. My feedback is thoughtful, honest, and tailored to you—always with the goal of empowering you to tell the story only you can tell, while keeping your eye on your personal goal.

I offer a blend of in-line comments, in-depth manuscript reports, and big-picture insight into plot, pacing, arcs, emotional beats, and character depth. I’ll also be available to answer your questions along the way—we’re in this together.
