When you book a beta read with me, you’ll receive in-line comments directly in your manuscript. I focus on how the story flows, how it feels to read — the pacing, the emotional beats, the depth and consistency of your characters, how the plot carries itself, and whether the dialogue rings true. If this sounds like a lot, don't worry, I'll never give you more feedback than you can handle. I’ll also let you know what’s working beautifully and where things might benefit from more clarity or impact, always with the intention of helping you tell your story, not reshape it into something it’s not. You will always be in the driver's seat.

Alongside this, I’ll send you a brief summary report — a bigger-picture view of your manuscript. This includes overall impressions, key strengths, and a few core areas you might want to explore in revisions. Think of it like a map to help guide your next steps.

This service is available for both full manuscripts and partial reads. If you’re sending a section rather than the full draft, a short synopsis is always appreciated so I can get proper context.
